Privacy notice

This notice explains how Elqui Bond Research processes personal data collected through this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Luxembourg data-protection law.

1. Controller

The controller of the personal data described in this notice is Elqui Bond Research S.à r.l.-S, a société à responsabilité limitée simplifiée registered with the RCS Luxembourg under number B311288, with registered office in Beggen, Luxembourg. Questions about this notice or about your data can be sent to marco@elquibondresearch.com.

2. Data we collect

Through the contact form we collect the data you choose to provide: full name, firm, professional email address and the content of your message. Our hosting and email infrastructure also process technical data necessary to deliver the site and the message, such as IP address, timestamp and delivery metadata. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not ask for portfolio holdings or other personal financial information - please do not include them in your message.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Enquiry data is processed to respond to your enquiry, to provide access to research materials you request, and to keep a record of the exchange. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries and in operating the business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and, where a contractual relationship follows, the performance of pre-contractual and contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where we are required to retain correspondence, the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Recipients

Personal data is accessible only to the founder and, where necessary, to service providers acting as processors under contract: website hosting, database and transactional email providers. These providers process data on our instructions only. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with issuers, banks or trading desks.

5. International transfers

Where a processor stores or processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with any additional safeguards required.

6. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from the last exchange where no engagement follows. Where an engagement is entered into, records are retained for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by applicable commercial, tax and anti-money-laundering rules.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability where applicable, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests can be sent to marco@elquibondresearch.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) in Luxembourg or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

8. Security and changes

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access restriction and minimisation of the data collected. This notice may be updated to reflect changes in our processing or in applicable law; the current version is always published on this page.
